Tour Operations
This provides students with an understanding of the tour operations industry and the skills and knowledge required to compile a tour for a given market.
Management Accounting
Students will gain an understanding of the financial and accounting records used in the tourism industry and the ways these can aid effective management decision making.
Strategic Tourism Management
This provides an understanding of the strategic process applied in the tourism industry, and selecting and implementing future strategic options.
Sustainable Tourism and Destination Management
An investigation into the principles of sustainable management and the factors which influence the management of a tourist destination.
Human Resource Management
This module introduces the students to a wide range of theoretical perspectives on how to manage the human resource, supported by extensive benchmarking against ‘real-world’ standards.
Management Research Report
Students carry out a research report that involves analyzing and interpreting data and making recommendations for the future. In doing so they develop independent research and study skills that will be required when working in the industry
